Progressing along nicely

Things for the growing Winters family are progressing along nicely. They've had 2 more overnights this week with sweet Hunter. Hopefully, Monday they'll have the court approved custody papers in the right hands and Hunter will be able to be with them from then on. :-) Here are a couple pictures from this week. Overnight from Dads eyes

From a new Dads eyes... I am a very hard sleeper. When I sleep nothing wakes me, I have to be pushed out of bed to answer a call for the Fire Dept. Then Hunter came home for a visit. I woke at any noise and was up with Michelle for all the overnight feedings. This is just one of the many life changing things that I had a preview. So with happy tears in my eyes and from the bottom of my heart I can say with out a doubt, I can't wait until he comes home.

Overnight visit!!

Sweet baby got an overnight visit with Michelle and Pete on Friday night and until 5pm on Saturday. There will be move visitation until the custody hearing, which could be sooner than August 2nd.

Paperwork Delay...hang on Hunter, Mommy and Daddy are coming

There was a paperwork delay at the court house. The new "baby day" is August 2nd. Things are still very positive, we just have a little more waiting.

Hunter's Baby Quilt

Here's a quilt that I made for sweet Hunter. Everything is going well toward the custody hearing Thursday. I'm heading to Tulsa for the Usborne Books National Convention in a couple hours. I'll be eager to return home on Sunday to see our grandson! :-)

Everything is looking GREAT now!

The custody hearing for Michelle and Pete is Thursday, July 19th and everything is looking fantastic for them to bring him home that day. The state is working with them to make this happen now. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!! :-)

Positive thoughts and prayers please

Things have hit a few bumps in the road and it's not quite as "for sure" as it was before. It's still possible that Michelle & Pete might get him. There is a custody hearing on 7/19. Thanks for your positive thoughts and prayers.

Here are a couple more pictures. Hunter's feeding tube was removed on Saturday and he's doing great eating....especially if it's Michelle or Pete feeding him. He eats better when they're feeding him than the nurses. :-)

Here are more pictures - these are from Sunday, July 8. He's doing great and currently weighs 4lb 10oz! His forearm is about the size of a women's thumb. He's very, very sweet!
